day 1

  • Tourclub guides meet the group at 10:30 a.m. at the railway station in Kvasy. How to get to the tour?
  • before we start moving along the trekking route Tourclub guide should allocate all general equipment and food among all participants of the tour; therefore, packing your backpack, provide enough room for general stuff (approx. 5 kg) and food (approx. 3 kg)
  • trekking route: Kvasy Village – slopes of Sheshul Mountain, 9 km

day 2

  • the route of the 2nd day of the tour involves quite a long walk and ascending the range of mountains and conquering of Hoverla (2061 m), the highest peak in Ukraine at the very end of the day
  • names of Ukrainian mountains derives from ancient roots and mainly focus the information about peculiarities of their structure, usage or character; for instance, name “Sheshul” originates from Hungarian and means “pasturage”, name “Petros” – from Romanian “pebbly”, name “Hoverla” – from Hungarian “snowstorm”
  • trekking route: slopes of Sheshul Mountain– Rogneska Mountain (1724 m) – Petros Mountain (2020 m) - Monomakh's Cap Mountain (1570 m) – slope of Hoverla Mountain, 16 km

  • besides severe outlines of mountains today’s route will please your eyes with playful lakes one of which considered to be the most high-altitude in Ukraine, that’s Nesamovyte (Frantic) Lake located on the height of 1750 m over the sea level
  • trekking route: slope of Hoverla Mountain – Hoverla Mountain (2061 m) – Breskul Mountain (1912 m) – Pozhyzhevska Mountain (1822 m) – Dantsysh Mountain (1849 m) – Turkul Mountain (1933 m) – Nesamovyte Lake – traverse of Rebra Mountain (2001 m) – Brebeneskul Lake, 12 km

  • undoubted pearl of the fourth day of the tour is Pip Ivan Mountain (2028 m) on the peak of which raising the most high-altitude building of Ukraine, that’s abandoned Polish observatory known also as White Elephant (in winter snow and strong wind transform a majestic building into a chimerical creature that can remind silhouette of  the elephant )
  • trekking route: Brebeneskul Lake – Brebeneskul Mountain (2036 m) – Menchul Mountain (2001 m) – Dzembronya Mountain (1878 m) – Baltsatul Mountain (1851 m) – Pip Ivan Mountain (2028 m) – Vukhaty Kamin (Eared stone) Mountain (1864 m), 20 km

day 6

  • on this day trekking part of the tour ends
  • trekking route: Vukhaty Kamin Mountain (1864 m) – Dzembronya Village – the Black Cheremosh River, 10 km
  • Carpathian Jacuzzi on Cheremosh rapids from rafting camp “Torclub”
  • transfer to Vorokhta, ending the tour
  • going home
