Ski tour: Free ride in the Carpathians

Dragobrat is rightly called «the mecca of freeride», the most popular place of non-riding skiing in Ukraine. It is the highest mountain resort in Ukraine, which located at an altitude of 1,400 m. In addition to a large number of tracks and lifts, there are a lot of areas for riding on the entire area right inside the resort, and especially beyond the territory of resort, which most fully reveals all the possibilities of mountain skiing. Ski resort Dragobrat has everything you need for happiness: a ski school for beginners, slopes suitable for freeride - only up to 20 tracks of different levels of complexity, developed infrastructure and beautiful Carpathian landscapes!

day 1

• meeting the group with the tour guide at the railway station in Yasinia Village. How to get to the tour?
• extreme ascension to the highest mountain ski resort in Ukraine Dragobrat by SUVs (1 hour)
• accomodation in the cottage, lunch
• preparation for the ski in the mountains, checking out the equipment for freeride, safety briefing
• rise up by snowcat to Mount Blyznyuky (1881 m.). Skiing throughout the day on mountain skis or snowboarding slopes on the Svydovetsky Range, where the wild and unbridled spirit of the Carpathians is so acutely felt
• free ride descent to Dragobrat, to height 1300 m.
• returning back to homestead, dinner, overnight

day 2

• breakfast
• rise up by snowcat to Mount Blyznyuky (1881 m.) 
• free ride descent to passover between Big and Small Blyznytsa. Bliznitsa is one of the most beautiful peaks of Svydovetsky ridge and the main peak, which the majority of freeraiders try to conquer. The highest point of Dragobrat and the entire Svydovetsky Range.
• lunch-snack during the programme
• hiking to Small Blyznytsa (100-200 m. radially)
• free ride descent to Kvasy Village (height 600 m.)
• ending the tour, departure from Kvasy (things will be transported to the station by car). How to get back home?
