White water rafting: 4 days on the Black Cheremosh

We offer incredible 4 days in the Carpathians on wild streams of the Black Cheremosh, a typical mountain river with turbulent rapids and riffles. White water rafting in marvelous decorations of Carpathian landscapes guarantees bright photo and unforgettable impressions from close meeting with authentic hutsul culture: you will have an opportunity to visit local culture museums and ascend some picturesque peaks of the Carpathians.

day 1

• Tourclub guides meet the group at rafting camp “Tourclub” - a cozy camp site on a picturesque bank of the Black Cheremosh
• lodging in a camp site (double and triple tents) or, optionally, in a cottage nearby our rafting camp (additional payment)
• Tourclub guides will conduct safety briefing and provide you with necessary safety means (helmets and life jackets)
• during a day you will have an opportunity to take part in:
• 20 km of white rafting route that combines extreme part with main rapids of the Black Cheremosh (Dzembronya, Old Man’s Elbow, White Mare, Huchok, Huk; of ІІ-ІІІ categories of complexity) 
• 10 km of total extreme on wild rapids
• master classes on kayaks and double kayaks (multiple overcoming of Dzembronya rapid)
• full of impressions day can be finished in a relaxing hutsul sauna (pre-booking is required)

day 2

• rafting the main rapids of the Black Cheremosh: Dzembronya, Old Man’s Elbow, White Mare, Huchok, Huk
• 3-4 hour walk to the neighboring Hrynyava Mountain Meadows: you’ll ascend two peaks, that’s Krynta (1350 m) and Zmiinska (1356 m) to soothe the savage rapids of the Black Cheremosh

• those who are not hurry to sleep can get closer with other participants of the tour near evening bonfire. However, we wouldn’t recommend to stay there for too long since the next day prepares for you quite a challenge: be ready to overcome the third highest mountain in Ukrainian Carpathians, that’s Pip Ivan (2028 m)

day 3

• hiking to Pip Ivan Chornohirsky (10 hours); besides charming Carpathian and Romanian landscapes, you will definitely admire high-altitude construction of Ukraine – Polish observatory on the peak of Pip Ivan. It is also known under the name of “White Elephant”: in severe cold it utterly covers with snow, ice and by its outline reminds nothing else but a white elephant. Heavy backpack won’t burden you while ascending the mountain since everything that should be taken is necessities (daypack, raincoat, some warm clothes, personal first aid kit)
• returning to the camp 

day 4

• rafting route: camp - the village of Krasnyk, including the main rapids of the Black Cheremosh (Dzembronya, Old Man’s Elbow, White Mare, Huchok, Huk), 13 km
• break
• ending the tour

The organizers reserve the right to make changes in the program according to the circumstances!!!

food: three meals a day except the supper of the last day (more about menu)
